In 1966, the brothers Michael and Pasquale Cetta established the Sparks Steak House along the East 18th Street, which they later moved to it’s current location on 210 E. 46th Street beginning the early 1977. The restaurant gained popularity among meat lovers and wine aficionados due to their succulent USDA Prime steaks, fresh seafood, giant lobsters, and fabulous salads.

Sparks Steak House soon became known as “The Greatest Steakhouse in Manhattan” after the New York Post wrote a review saying how fantastic their steaks and wine list are. This was in 2001 and until now, the restaurant continues to serve a wide array of incredible and exquisite wine. Their wine selection has earned the Grand Award from the Wine Spectator Magazine for 23 years and it seems that the restaurant has no plans of stopping as they pursue to add more foreign and local wines to their infamous list.
Besides their menu and wine offerings, Sparks Steak House remains to be family-owned which provides function rooms that can accommodate large group of people. As the place is only five minutes away from iconic Grand Central Station, patrons and clients find it easier to book a table or get a reservation for easy family dinners, intimate affairs, and friendly reunions. Truly, this steakhouse knows their steak and how to engage their customers due to their impeccable service, world-class meals, and superb wines.
