Applebee’s is known as the “neighborhood bar and grill”. After all, what’s a grill without a rocking bar and adult beverages. The menu features a good selection of signature cocktails that ensure you’re favorites are available, but might not satisfy the more (ahem) discerning members of your party. That said, the bar most of the blue collar classic beers, wines and liquor selections, and doles them out at reasonable prices all in keeping with its clearly defined identity.
In this special “drink menu” edition of Restaurant Meal Prices we are proud to present the latest Applebee’s drink menu prices recently updated for your viewing pleasure. Salute!

Drink Menu and Bar Update
Applebee’s knows that their bar menu is one of the reasons for their popularity so in 2015 the brand redesigned many of their bars to include more televisions, and make it a game day destination. They also embraced a few trends such as the craft beer movement and added more taps to accommodate this push. They’re also pushing toward higher quality, and sometimes local ingredients in their cocktails. This update didn’t take them to far from their affordable pricing model though. Read below for more information about drink specials.
Anyone who’s gone to a bar knows that the best time to go (aside from anytime) is Happy Hour! Applebee’s is known for theirs so we thought we’d help you make the most of your next visit with a little bit more information.
When does it start and how long does it last?
Applbee’s actually has two different daily happy hour times. The first starts at 3PM and ends at 7PM every day*. The second starts at 10PM and ends at closing. *Sunday bar service and hours may vary by state.
What special offers can I get?
We’re so glad you asked! Applebee’s has 1/2 off drinks and 1/2 off appetizers* any time their happy hour is in effect. *Shots and some appetizers may be excluded from the 1/2 off offer.
Are there any other specials?
Yup! Every day Applebee’s features a different combination of drink and menu item specials. The bar frequently features $3.00 drink specials. They also feature their famous 2 for $20.00 special any time you visit. You can check them all out on their website.
What else should know about?
Well, before you sit yourself down at the bar stool it helps to know who you’re drinking with. Here’s a little bit of background on the company.
Applebee’s began in the 80’s in the Atlanta area. Back then it was called “T.J. Applebee’s Rx for Edibles & Elixirs”. A mouthful we know. Fortunately for those who are verbally challenged, the company was sold by it’s founders and shortly afterword got the shorter name we know today.
Since that time, Applebee’s Bar and Grill has been bought and sold several times, but currently sits with the publicly traded IHOP Corp and now boasts over 1500 locations including China!
